This week CopelandBEC welcomes its newest Consultant, Phoebe McCartan.
Phoebe recently graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science in Sustainable Systems Management with an emphasis in Building Science and Technology and a minor in Construction Management.
In her time at the University of Minnesota, Phoebe co-lead the “Phillips ReGen” retrofit team to first place in the attached housing division and overall residential division of the Department of Energy’s Solar Decathlon Building Design competition.
She is now ready to apply everything she’s learned as she joins the CopelandBEC Team.
We’re written previously about the great success of the UMN Decathlon team here and here. The UMN team’s project is a great example of innovative problem-solving, taking multiple factors into account to create an elegant solution.
