About Samir Ibrahim:
Samir Ibrahim is the Education Advisor for the International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants. Prior to that he served as the Director of Design Services at Carlisle Construction Materials for over 40 years. He holds a BS degree in architectural engineering from the University of Alexandria, Egypt. He is a member of the EPDM Roofing Association (ERA), the American Architectural Foundation, American Institute of of Building Enclosure Consultants, and the National Roofing Contractor’s Association (NRCA), and was named to the RCI (now IIBEC) Jury of Fellows in 2016. He has authored and co-authored papers on sustainability, resiliency, and roof color and energy, including in the Huffington Post.
