Below-Grade Leak Investigation at Academic Research Facility

← Back to projects

A multi-story academic research facility in Cambridge, MA has experienced recurring water intrusion at below-grade interior spaces, including mechanical rooms, storage areas, and critical circulation corridors. CopelandBEC performed a phased building envelope assessment to evaluate foundation and courtyard drainage conditions, supported by civil subconsultants who conducted subsurface utility locating, ground-penetrating radar (GPR), and hydrological modeling to inform long-term mitigation strategies.
