Building Envelope Design Consulting

We know that architects are busy and have a whole lot to worry about. That’s why we can take the load off when it comes to building envelope design. We focus on the challenging details – those transitions and coordination nightmares that are often the source of problems down the road.

Your Design

As the building envelope consultant on an architect’s team our job is to make the building envelope work, while being sensitive to the architectural design intent.

We want to work with you to create carefully thought-out solutions that are practical, reliable, and durable. Our goal is to accomplish all of building envelope magic while maintaining the defining characteristics of the design.

Documenting the Details

Typical details are great but the atypical details are usually where the problems pop up. We work with the design team to address these critical building envelope transitions and clearly document the building envelope design at these locations.

Did you know that building envelope details are required by law? We can help you meet this obligation – but the great news is that it will result in a better building too!
