NMH McCollum Field House
The NMH McCollum Field House project involves the adaptive reuse of an existing unconditioned hockey facility into a modern, year-round arena. As part of this transformation, the project team sought to preserve the recently installed roof membrane by retrofitting insulation from the interior. CopelandBEC was retained to assess the hygrothermal performance of the proposed roof assembly and to provide recommendations to manage condensation risk and support long-term durability.
Tritt Elementary School
Photo courtesy of Cobb County School District. Tritt Elementary School reported recurring water intrusion at two exterior canopy structures. CopelandBEC was engaged to perform a visual condition assessment and develop conceptual repair recommendations based on observed deterioration and past maintenance history.
Roof and Skylight Restoration
A mid-rise institutional building with a low-slope roof and central skylight underwent a fluid-applied membrane restoration project. CopelandBEC designed the restoration scope and provided construction-phase support to help ensure compliance with FM Global requirements.
Library Roof
A multi-story institutional building with a humidified interior reported recurring water leakage at exterior wall and roof-adjacent window conditions. CopelandBEC was retained to investigate the cause through visual review, diagnostic water testing, hygrothermal modeling, and exploratory openings, and to develop conceptual repair recommendations. Following the investigation, we designed a partial roof replacement to address the conditions observed.
